The origin of the name of the town The Masroig, seems that refers to the ground of red clay, that predominates in these areas. The selection of Les Argiles d’Orto Vins is characterized by the fact that the vineyards from where the grapes to make this wine are planted in plots of clay. The clay that surrounds the Masroig is a unique, compact and fertile soil that at the time of making wines gives them freshness and agility.
Les Argiles Tinto – Maceration of 28 days in stainless steel tanks. After the pressing, it returns to the tank where the malo-lactic fermentation takes place and matures for 3 months with its own lees. Finally, it is carried out with 3 months of aging in French oak barrels of four years. Intense cherry color. Aromas of red fruits with a touch of herbs and aging. Light floral aromas. In the mouth fresh, expressive and well built. Delicate tannins give us a nice finish.
