Llavors Tinto is made from native grapes from 50-year-old vineyards and integrated production. Manual harvest of selected grapes. Vinification in stainless steel tanks. Aged during 5 months in new French, Hungarian and Romanian oak barrels. Intense cherry colour. Well structured, fresh and high aromatic intensity of primary aromas of ripe fruits combined with delicate tertiary aromas typical of ageing in barrel. Well balanced with fully integrated fresh tannins. Long and persistent finish. Llavors in Catalan means “Then”, the next pass. The label is a piece of the local newspaper article that describes a situation which occurred and impacted the harvest giving a unique character to each vintage.
