Syrah is an organic red wine elaborated from grapes grown at parcels near sea and mountain. Manual harvest of selected grapes and transported in 18kg boxes. After harvesting, grapes are cooled in a special room in order to avoid premature fermentation. Grapes are subjected to a long maceration process during which alcoholic fermentation occurs. Afterwards gently pressed and malolactic fermentation takes place. Aged during 12 months in French and Central European barrels. Followed by 6 months in bottles to stabilize flavours. Rich cherry colour with purplish and bluish highlights. Intense bouquet of ripe forest fruits well integrated with balsamic and mineral aromas. Delicate oaky flavours of spices and toast brought by aging. Soft and pleasant on entry with fairly high acidity, which is perfectly integrated with juicy aromas of forest fruits. Well-structured with soft notes of liquorice and dark chocolate. Full bodied with pleasant long aftertaste.
